”Your health means everything to you.” This is a motto of Spine Chiropractic -with Joint Motion-, which opened in January of this year. Some of you might be putting off addressing health problems, such as body aches and constant fatigue. There might be concerns with language barriers or building trusting relationships with your doctor when choosing a clinic. At Spine Chiropractic, experienced chiropractor Motohiro Yasumi, a physician with globally acknowledged credentials, can treat a variety of symptoms.
Yasumi’s family moved to Singapore when he was six months old; there, he was exposed to English. He returned to Japan for elementary school, but then was off to Australia as a middle school student. When playing Aussie-rules football, he was injured and received treatment from a chiropractor. After returning to Japan at the age of twenty, he learned that RMIT University, which he attended in Australia, had a Japanese school where he could study to be a chiropractor. Yasumi spent the next five years learning approved techniques of the World Federation of Chiropractic, officially recognized by WHO, to obtain two bachelor degrees. He went on to obtain a Doctor of Chiropractic degree, too.
Yasumi spent over eighteen years gaining experience at three different clinics before launching Spine. The clinic is about a minute away from Bashamichi Station. Surprisingly in Japan, there’s no license for chiropractors and it has created a huge gap in doctors’ techniques. Yasumi explains, “While a license isn’t everything, it could be a key indicator when choosing a good clinic. Because the symptoms of my patients are closely related to their daily lives, I always make sure I understand their lifestyles so I can choose the best treatment and adjustments. In this context, being fluent in both Japanese and English is my strong point.”
If you are currently having a health issue or simply want to stay healthy, a visit to Spine could help. Happiness starts with your health.
